If you’re anything like us, when the hangry kicks in, you’ll devour any food within arms reach (whole blocks of chocolate, we’re looking at you). The key to avoiding said chocolate block is preparing snacks beforehand, so that they’re ready to go in the fridge, and you can take them to work when you stumble out the door. Here are our personal faves so you can easily curb those hanger pangs, in a nutritious and delicious way.
Celery and TFC natural peanut butter
Any natural peanut butter will do! If you’ve run out and need another jar, message us for AU$7 + postage. If you want to keep things interesting, add sliced apple.
Add cumin, paprika, chilli powder, sat & pepper to a cup of your favourite nuts. Roast in 150c oven for 10 minutes.
Smashed avocuddle rice cakes
Smash an avo, add salt, pepper, lemon juice and chopped mint, and serve onto a rice cake.
Banana & cinnamon shake
Blitz half a frozen banana, teaspoon cinnamon, 3/4 cup almond milk and a scoop of protein powder.
